2. Description of Long Range Wireless UAV Data Link

 

CD100NMT Wireless Link device realize long-distance two-way wireless video, audio, data transmission,The maximum air-to-ground transmission distance can reach about 100km. The CD100NMT device provides multiple service interfaces, including 2 Ethernet ports, 3 serial ports, and audio input and output interfaces.

 

The data transmission from the central node to the access node is called the downlink, and the data transmission from the access node to the central node is called the uplink. In point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication.

 

The downlink shares the wireless operating bandwidth with the uplink. When the device is shipped, the default setting is the ratio of the upstream rate to the downstream rate = 4:1. Therefore, if the device is used to transmit IP Camera video data, the IP camera should be connected to the access node.

 

The device automatically adjusts the wireless transmission rate according to the service data stream it carries, and the smaller the amount of service data it carries, the farther the transmission distance will be under the same conditions. Therefore, when using the device to transmit IP Camera video data, the wireless transmission distance can be improved by setting the appropriate reduction of the IP Camera video encoding bitrate.
