1. Purpose
Try to test the transmission distance of NMT Series VTX with 1.4G frequency band,
5M band width and 2dBi antenna gain at ground-to-ground with some trees blocking case.
2. Prepare
CD30NMT 1.4GHz * 2 (1 Access Node 192.168.1.12, 1 Central Node 192.168.1.11)
IP Camera * 1 (192.168.1.200)
IP Camera * 1 (192.168.1.201)
IP Camera * 1 (192.168.1.202)
Computer * 1 (192.168.1.2)
1.4GHz 2dBi Antenna * 4
Switch * 1

3. Step
a) IP Camera (192.168.1.200) &IP Camera (192.168.1.201) &IP Camera (192.168.1.201)
connected via a switch to the CD30NMT Access Node (192.168.1.12);
b) Connect CD30NMT Central Node (192.168.1.11) with Computer (192.168.1.2);
c) Run Command Window and ping CD30NMT Central Node to make sure connection is normal;
d) Ping CD30NMT Access Node to make sure connection is normal;
e) Ping IP Camera to make sure connection is normal;
f) Run EasyPlayer.exe and input “rtsp://192.168.1.200:554/live/0/MAIN” to check IP Camera video is normal; input “rtsp://192.168.1.201:554/live/0/MAIN” to check IP Camera video is normal; input “rtsp://192.168.1.202:554/live/0/MAIN” to check IP Camera video is normal;
g) Run Chrome and input CD30NMT Central Node & Access Node IP Address to make sure settings as i. Frequency Band: 1.4GHz ii. Frequency Hopping: Disable iii. Band Width: 5MHz iv. Uplink Downlink Rate: 2D3U h) Put Central Node & Computer at P0, take IP Camera & Access Node away from P0;

5. Testing
5.1 1.4GHz + 2dBi Antenna + 5MHz
The route is to ride along the lake.
A PO to P1 distance: 324.99m. Three-ways video are smooth,data rate 8.5M
B PO to P2 distance: 545.16m. Three-ways video are smooth, data rate 8.2M
C PO to P3 distance: 690.05m. Three-ways video are smooth. data rate 7.5M
C PO to P4 distance: 819.17m. Three-ways video are smooth. data rate 5.7M
D PO to P5 distance: 647.44m. Three-ways video are smooth. data rate 1.6M, Blocked by buildings.
E PO to P6 distance: 383.21m. Three-ways video are smooth. data rate 6.6M
Summary: A circle around the lake, Sight distance with a few trees blocking three-way video is very smooth, there is no mosaic phenomenon, there is no lag, the video transmission is very good.
